Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 June 2026
This policy explains what personal information Liverpool Podcast Studios collects when you book and work with us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and who we share it with. Liverpool Podcast Studios is a trading name of Podcast Studios Ltd, 67 Greenland Street, Liverpool, L1 0BY, and we are the data controller for the information described here. If you have any questions, contact us at bookings@liverpoolpodcaststudios.com.
1. What we collect and why
When you create an account or make a booking with us, we collect:
- Your name — to identify your booking and address you correctly.
- Your email address — to send your booking confirmation, VAT receipt, content-delivery notifications and any service messages, and as the unique identifier for your account.
- Your phone number — required when you create an account, so we can reach you quickly about your session (for example a last-minute studio issue).
- Your billing address — to produce a valid VAT invoice.
- Booking details — the studio, date, time, services and any add-ons you choose, and any notes you give us about your session.
- Payment information — card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details; we keep only the payment outcome, amount and Stripe reference needed for your receipt and our accounts.
- Marketing preferences — whether you've opted in to hear from us. This is off unless you choose it, and you can change it any time in your account.
2. Guests you add to a booking
If you add other people (guests) to a session, we collect the name and email address you give us for each guest, so we can identify who attended and, where relevant, send them their own session information.
- We treat the booking account-holder as responsible for having the guest's permission to share their details with us.
- A guest is not signed up to marketing. If we ever email a guest, any marketing opt-in is theirs alone to give — never set on their behalf.
- A guest can ask us to remove their details at any time (see Your rights).
3. Files you send us, and files we deliver to you
- Files you upload to us for a session (for example scripts, images or clips) are stored securely and kept only as long as we need them to do your work — until your finished content is delivered, plus a short grace period (currently 30 days) — after which they are automatically deleted. We may keep them for up to 180 days at most.
- Finished content we deliver to you through your account is available to download for the period set out in our Terms. We keep a simple record of when a file was downloaded and how many times, so we can confirm delivery, support you if a download fails, and know when a file is safe to remove.
4. How long we keep your information
- Account and booking records (including invoices) are kept for as long as you have an account with us and for as long as we're legally required to keep financial records afterwards (HMRC requires VAT records to be kept for 6 years).
- Uploaded and delivered files follow the retention periods in section 3 and in our Terms.
- Marketing data is kept until you opt out or ask us to delete it.
5. Who we share it with (our service providers)
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service, and share only what each needs to do its job:
| Provider | What for | Where data is held |
| Supabase | Our database, accounts and the booking system itself | London, UK / EU |
| Stripe | Card payment processing | EU / global (PCI-compliant) |
| Resend | Sending confirmation, receipt and notification emails | EU |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storing the files you send and the content we deliver | EU |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Stopping spam/abuse on our forms | EU / global |
| Google | Adding your booking to our studio calendar | EU / global |
| Notion | Our internal record of your sessions for production | EU / global |
| Netlify | Hosting the booking pages | EU / global |
All of these act on our instructions as data processors. Where data leaves the UK/EU it's protected by appropriate safeguards.
6. Cookies and similar technology
The booking pages use a small amount of local storage on your device to keep you signed in and to remember things like whether you've passed our pre-launch access code. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a token to tell humans from bots. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the booking pages.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
- correct anything that's wrong,
- delete your data (where we're not legally required to keep it),
- stop using your data for marketing.
To do any of these, email bookings@liverpoolpodcaststudios.com. We'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
